1) #cd /usr/share/zoneinfo

   you will see many countries and timezone, you can go to the directory you see your timezone

  eg:# cd /usr/share/zoneinfo/America

2) #cp /cd/usr/chare/zoneinfo/America/Chicago /etc/localtime

3) #date  you will see the date.
