Ubuntu /boot paritiion clean up
1. Check the /boot partition size to decide if need clean up
$ df
2. Check the current used Linux kernel
$ uname -r
3. Check all Linux kernel to decide which ones to be removed
$ ls /boot
4. List all installed Linux kernel label
$ sudo dpkg --list ‘linux-image*‘
5. Remove old Linux kernel images, usually leave 1 or 2 old ones which won‘t be removed
$ sudo apt-get remove linux-image-3.8.0-38-generic
6. Repeat step #5 until the /boot partition has enough space
$ df
